89R1117 LRM-F By: Schofield H.B. No. 959 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the date of the primary election runoff. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 41.007, Election Code, is amended by amending Subsection (b) and adding Subsection (b-1) to read as follows: (b) The runoff primary election date is the second [fourth] Tuesday in April [May] following the general primary election.
