89R3158 AMF-D By: Noble H.B. No. 977 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to eligibility for the gifted and talented student allotment under the Foundation School Program. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 48.109(c), Education Code, is amended to read as follows: (c) Not more than 10 [five] percent of a district's students in average daily attendance are eligible for funding under this section. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
