89R5110 EAS-D By: Schatzline H.B. No. 1072 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to a database containing certain records of children who are not lawfully present in the United States. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Chapter 411, Government Code, is amended by adding Subchapter S to read as follows: SUBCHAPTER S. DATABASE CONTAINING CERTAIN RECORDS OF CHILDREN NOT LAWFULLY PRESENT IN UNITED STATES Sec. 411.551. DEFINITION. In this subchapter, "child" means an individual who is younger than 18 years of age.
