By: Curry H.B. No. 1084 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the regulation of in vitro fertilization procedures; authorizing an administrative penalty. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subtitle H, Title 2, Health and Safety Code, is amended by adding Chapter 174 to read as follows: CHAPTER 174. IN VITRO FERTILIZATION Sec. 174.001. REGULATION OF IN VITRO FERTILIZATION PROCEDURES. Notwithstanding any other law, a physician or other health care practitioner: (1) may perform in vitro fertilization procedures only
