No. 1112 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the licensing of certain persons by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and the hiring of those persons by political subdivisions. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. The heading to Section 370.007, Local Government Code, as added by Chapter 1049 (S.B. 252), Acts of the 88th Legislature, Regular Session, 2023, is amended to read as follows: Sec. 370.007. APPOINTING OR EMPLOYING CERTAIN LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENTS [VETERANS] TO POSITION REQUIRING LICENSURE.
