By: Hinojosa H.B. No. 1175 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the provision of a student transcript by an independent school district. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 7.010, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (c-1) to read as follows: (c-1) On the request of a person to whom a school district is authorized under applicable state or federal law to release a student's transcript, the district shall provide an electronic copy of the transcript through the electronic student records system. SECTION 2. Section 11.158(b), Education Code, is amended to
