89R2578 ANG-D By: Manuel H.B. No. 1202 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to training requirements for public school teachers under the school's multihazard emergency operations plan. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 37.108, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: (a-1) A school district must provide the training required under Subsection (a)(1) in person to each district teacher, including a substitute teacher or guest teacher, before the teacher begins teaching in a classroom in the district.
