By: Hinojosa H.B. No. 1212 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the means by which schools are compared in the Public School Accountability System. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 39.053, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (c-4) to read as follows: (c-4) For purposes of Subsection (c)(2)(B), the commissioner may not compare the relative performance of a campus in a district in which student enrollment is based only on a student's residence and the relative performance of a campus in a district in which a student's parent or person standing in parental
