89R3559 CJD-D By: Turner H.B. No. 1231 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to public access to personal financial statements filed by public officials and candidates. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 572.032, Government Code, is amended by amending Subsection (a) and adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: (a) Financial statements filed under this subchapter are public records.
