By: Harrison H.B. No. 1267 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the recall of a United States senator by the legislature. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. The legislature finds that: (1) the federal government was intended to be a creation of and responsive to the sovereign states; (2) the 10th Amendment rights of states and the people have been significantly diminished since the adoption of the 17th Amendment; (3) a restoration of the appropriate balance of power
