No. 1343 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the issuance by the Public Utility Commission of Texas of a permit for the installation of certain electric energy storage equipment or facilities; authorizing a fee. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter E, Chapter 35, Utilities Code, is amended by adding Section 35.154 to read as follows: Sec. 35.154. LOCATION PERMIT. (a) In this section, "person" includes an electric cooperative and a municipally owned utility.
