By: Zwiener H.B. No. 1390 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT Relating to the requirement of a school district to notify a parent of curriculum or instructional material containing religion or religious values. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 26.010, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsections (c), (c-1), and (c-2) to read as follows: (c) Before each school year, and a week prior to any specific instruction, a school district shall provide through personal delivery, mail, or electronic mail, written notice to a parent of each student enrolled in the district of any curriculum,
