By: Talarico H.B. No. 1408 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the participation of community-based organizations in workforce training programs funded by the skills development fund. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 303.003, Labor Code, is amended by amending Subsection (h) and adding Subsection (h-1) to read as follows: (h) A community-based organization may apply for money to participate in a training program if: (1) the organization applies [only] in partnership with a community and technical college or the Texas A&M Engineering
