89R15721 MPF-D By: Morgan H.B. No. 4671 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the appointment of election officers to serve during certain elections. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 31, Election Code, is amended by adding Section 83.0301 to read as follows: Sec. 83.0301. APPLICABILITY OF SUBCHAPTER. A person may not be appointed as a deputy early voting clerk under this subchapter for a primary election or a general election for state and county officers.
