By: Landgraf H.B. No. 4934 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the powers and duties of the county attorney and district attorney in Ector County. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 43.137, Government Code, is amended to read as follows: Sec. 43.137. 70TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT. (a) The voters of the 70th Judicial District elect a district attorney. (b) The district attorney of the 70th Judicial District shall also act as district attorney for the 161st Judicial District.
