No. 936 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to authorizing the Texas School Safety Center to conduct random safety and security audits of public schools; authorizing a civil penalty. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter G, Chapter 37, Education Code, is amended by adding Section 37.2072 to read as follows: Sec. 37.2072. RANDOM SAFETY AND SECURITY AUDITS; CIVIL PENALTY. (a) The center may conduct random safety and security audits of school districts. An audit may include:
