89R6238 TSS-D By: Hughes S.B. No. 1039 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to creating a school uniform allotment under the Foundation School Program. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 48, Education Code, is amended by adding Section 48.121 to read as follows: Sec. 48.121. SCHOOL UNIFORM ALLOTMENT. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (c), for each student in average daily attendance who attends a school at which school uniforms are required, a school district is entitled to an annual allotment of
