No. 1092 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the referral of certain students receiving special education services to a local intellectual and developmental disability authority for services or public benefits. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 29, Education Code, is amended by adding Section 29.030 to read as follows: Sec. 29.030. REFERRAL TO LOCAL INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY AUTHORITY. A school district shall refer each student who qualifies to receive special education services
