89R1328 MZM-D By: Blanco S.B. No. 1165 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the authority of certain counties to regulate recycling businesses. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 234, Local Government Code, is amended by adding Section 234.0025 to read as follows: Sec. 234.0025. REGULATION OF RECYCLING BUSINESSES. (a) This section applies only to a county: (1) in which a municipality with a population of 500,000 or more is located; and
