89R8984 GP-D By: Zaffirini S.B. No. 1256 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the implementation of a veteran discount program for the use of certain toll projects. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 228, Transportation Code, is amended by adding Section 228.060 to read as follows: Sec. 228.060. VETERAN DISCOUNT PROGRAM ON CERTAIN TOLL PROJECTS. (a) The department shall establish and implement a veteran discount program under Section 372.053 for electronic toll collection customers using State Highway 130.
