89R5286 MCF-F By: Cook S.B. No. 1306 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the age of criminal responsibility and to certain substantive and procedural matters related to that age. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: ARTICLE 1. AGE OF CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY SECTION 1.01. Section 51.02(2), Family Code, is amended to read as follows: (2) "Child" means a person who is: (A) 10 [ten] years of age or older and under 18 [17] years of age; or
