89R2748 JTZ-D By: Johnson S.B. No. 1328 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to requiring an occupational license to practice magnetic resonance imaging physics. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 602.002, Occupations Code, is amended by amending Subdivisions (5-a) and (12) and adding Subdivision (5-b) to read as follows: (5-a) "Magnetic resonance imaging physics" means the branch of medical physics that deals with radiofrequency radiation and the use of equipment associated with the production and use of
