89R12268 MP-D By: Kolkhorst S.B. No. 1360 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the labeling and sale of Texas honey. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter E, Chapter 131, Agriculture Code, is amended by adding Section 131.085 to read as follows: Sec. 131.085. USE OF CERTAIN TEXAS LABELS. (a) A person may not label, sell, or keep, offer, or expose for sale a product identified on its label as "Texas honey," "product of Texas," "Texas blend," or "local honey" unless: (1) the product consists of honey produced entirely
