89R15909 RAL-D By: Cook, Menéndez S.B. No. 2726 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to Holocaust Remembrance Week in public schools. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 29.9072, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: (d) Not later than 60 days before the first day of Holocaust Remembrance Week, the agency shall provide notice to each school district about Holocaust Remembrance Week. The notice must include information regarding the availability of instructional resources provided by the Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism
