89R15970 MPF-F By: Cook S.B. No. 2759 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the authority of certain health care facilities to cooperate with officers engaged in immigration-related duties. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subtitle F, Title 4, Health and Safety Code, is amended by adding Chapter 318 to read as follows: CHAPTER 318. COOPERATION WITH OFFICERS ENGAGED IN IMMIGRATION-RELATED DUTIES Sec. 318.001. DEFINITION. In this chapter, "health facility" means:
