89R13397 LRM-D By: Cook S.B. No. 2761 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to benefits provided to eligible survivors of certain public safety employees. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 615.021(a), Government Code, is amended to read as follows: (a) A survivor of an individual listed under Section 615.003 is eligible for the payment of assistance under this chapter if: (1) the listed individual: (A) died as a result of a personal injury
