2025S0229-1 03/12/25 By: Bettencourt S.B. No. 2822 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the election of the board of trustees of certain school districts and the powers and duties of the board of trustees of school districts. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 11.052, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (b-1) and amending Subsection (d) to read as follows: (b-1) Subsections (a) and (c) do not apply in the case of an order adopted under this subsection. The board of trustees of an
