By: Zaffirini S.B. No. 2838 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the regulation of used automotive parts recycling, including requirements pertaining to vehicle titles. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 2309.301, Occupations Code, is amended by amending the heading and Subsections (a) through (c) to read as follows: Sec. 2309.301. DUTIES [ON ACQUISITION OF SALVAGE MOTOR] CONCERNING VEHICLE TITLES. (a) A used automotive parts recycler who acquires ownership of a motor vehicle, nonrepairable motor vehicle, or salvage motor vehicle for the purpose of dismantling,
