No. 2862 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to active shooter events and other emergencies, including certain accreditations of law enforcement agencies that respond to such emergencies. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 2A, Code of Criminal Procedure, is amended by adding Article 2A.067 to read as follows: Art. 2A.067. POLICY FOR RESPONDING TO ACTIVE SHOOTER EMERGENCY. (a) This article applies only to a law enforcement agency of a municipality, county, school district, or institution
