89R17288 JAM-F By: Cook, Hall, Miles S.B. No. 2895 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to a highway toll exemption for public school buses. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 372, Transportation Code, is amended by adding Section 372.060 to read as follows: Sec. 372.060. PUBLIC SCHOOL BUSES. (a) In this section, "school bus" has the meaning assigned by Section 541.201. (b) A toll project entity may not require a school bus exempt from registration fees under Section 502.453 to pay a toll for use of a toll project when the bus is transporting students on a
