Bill overview
The FLY Act aims to make it easier for caregivers, parents, and guardians to accompany minors and passengers needing assistance through airport security. It directs the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to create a system that will expedite gate passes and flight access for these individuals, who already have TSA PreCheck. This system will provide up to two gate passes, clearly indicating the individual’s PreCheck status on their boarding pass.
