Bill overview
This bill changes how the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) leases office space. It removes the SEC’s authority to directly lease space and instead directs the General Services Administration to handle those leases. Existing leases the SEC has already entered into are not affected. The bill also requires a government review to assess the leasing practices of other federal agencies.
