Bill overview
This bill creates a demonstration program to help connect homeless individuals with mental health and substance use disorder treatment. The program will provide grants to Continuums of Care – organizations that support homeless individuals – to refer eligible participants to Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics. The program’s success will be measured by tracking the number of participants receiving benefits and providing technical assistance to participating organizations.
