Bill overview
This bill, the CCP Visa Disclosure Act of 2025, requires individuals applying for F, J, or M visas (student and exchange visitor visas) to disclose any financial support they’ve received or plan to receive from the Chinese government, the Chinese Communist Party, or related entities. If an applicant receives such funds after obtaining a visa, they must report it to the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State. Failure to disclose these funds could result in visa revocation.
