Bill overview
The Deliver Housing Now Act of 2025 seeks to increase the number of public housing agencies that can participate in the Moving to Work (MTW) demonstration program. Currently, there’s a limit on how many agencies can be added to this program, but this bill removes that restriction. This would allow more communities to access federal funding and resources to create and preserve affordable housing options. The bill specifically modifies a section of the Omnibus Consolidated Rescissions and Appropriations Act of 1996.
