Bill overview
The VETT Act aims to increase transparency and improve the process by which the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) approves educational programs for veterans’ benefits. Currently, educational institutions must provide detailed information to veterans before enrollment, but the bill changes this requirement if they cannot provide complete information. It also mandates the VA to create and maintain a website with training resources for officials who certify schools for VA educational assistance programs.
