Bill overview
The Affordable Shipping for All Act aims to ensure that shipping costs to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories are not unfairly higher than shipping costs within the contiguous United States. This bill prohibits shipping companies, including the USPS, from charging more for shipping goods to these areas compared to shipping from them. It also prevents companies from excluding these locations from their shipping services. There is an exemption for goods valued over $10,000.
