Bill overview
This bill, the Combating High Inflation Limiting Daycare Act of 2025, increases the amount families can contribute to dependent care assistance programs, such as flexible spending accounts (FSAs), to help cover the cost of childcare. It raises the maximum annual contribution from $5,000 to $10,000 for families filing jointly, and $5,000 for those filing separately. The contribution amounts will also be adjusted annually for inflation to maintain their value. The changes will take effect starting in 2025.
