The Indigenous Diplomacy and Engagement Act establishes an Office for Indigenous Affairs within the U.S. government to coordinate efforts in diplomacy and engagement with Indigenous peoples worldwide. It mandates the development of a comprehensive international strategy, overseen by a Coordinator, to support Indigenous communities’ goals and address shared challenges.
