Bill overview
This bill, the Manager Act, requires all federal agencies to conduct an annual survey of their managers to assess workplace attitudes and management practices. The surveys will include questions about confidence in leadership, disciplinary systems, and support for managers, in addition to existing employee surveys. The Office of Personnel Management will establish standard survey questions and agencies must publicly share the results unless it would compromise national security.
