IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
A BILL
To include cybersecurity technical assistance in the national rural water and wastewater circuit rider program of Department of Agriculture.
This Act may be cited as the Cybersecurity for Rural Water Systems Act
.
by striking and
at the end of clause (i); and
by redesignating clause (ii) as clause (iii) and inserting after clause (i) the following:
assess system efficacy in protecting against cyber threats; and
implement cybersecurity plans, procedures, and technologies to protect against cyber threats; and
$25,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023and inserting
$32,500,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030, of which $7,500,000 for each of the fiscal years shall be used to provide cybersecurity technical assistance in accordance with subparagraph (A)(ii).
