This bill, the Air Traffic Controller Protection Act, requires Congress to approve any reduction, replacement, or outsourcing of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) workforce by at least 1%. It also prevents the Department of Digital Service (DOGE) from controlling the FAA and prohibits the privatization or outsourcing of the air traffic control system.
