Bill overview
This bill proposes to create a new medal, the Border Operations Service Medal, to recognize the service of military personnel and Federal employees who participated in border security operations authorized by the President starting January 1, 2025. The medal will be awarded to active-duty members of the Armed Forces, National Guard, and Reserve personnel who served during these operations.
