Overview
This bill, the Save SBA from Sanctuary Cities Act of 2025, requires the Small Business Administration (SBA) to relocate any of its regional, district, or local offices located in states or political subdivisions designated as ‘sanctuary jurisdictions.’ A sanctuary jurisdiction is defined as a location that restricts information sharing with the federal government regarding citizenship or immigration status or limits compliance with Department of Homeland Security requests. The SBA must relocate these offices to a location outside of a sanctuary jurisdiction within 60 days of a public determination by the Administrator.
