IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
A BILL
To provide for interim appropriations for the National Capital Planning Commission and the Commission of Fine Arts with respect to any fiscal year for which appropriations are not otherwise provided for the commissions.
If during a fiscal year (beginning with fiscal year 2025) there is an appropriation for the expenses of an entity described in subsection (b), and during the next fiscal year there is no appropriation for such expenses, there shall be appropriated for such next fiscal year, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sums as are necessary for the expenses of the entity, at a rate for operations and under the terms and conditions provided in the previous fiscal year.
The entities described in this subsection are as follows:
The National Capital Planning Commission.
The Commission of Fine Arts.
If an appropriation for the expenses of an entity described in subsection (b), or a general appropriation bill providing appropriations for the Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies without provision for such expenses, is enacted into law on any date during a fiscal year following the expenditure of funds during such fiscal year pursuant to this Act—
such expenditure shall be charged to such appropriation (if any); and
appropriations made available pursuant to this Act shall not be available after the date of the enactment of such appropriation or general appropriation bill.
