Bill overview
This bill directs the Federal Aviation Administration to work with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to study and report on the health effects of air traffic noise and pollution. The National Academies will assemble a panel of experts to conduct a comprehensive review of existing scientific knowledge. The resulting report will be shared with several government agencies and congressional committees to inform policy decisions. Ultimately, the goal is to better understand and address the potential health impacts of air traffic.
