A BILL
To provide appropriations for the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 during the first lapse in appropriations in a fiscal year.
This Act may be cited as the Feed Our Families Act of 2025
.
In the case of any fiscal year beginning after September 30, 2024, there is appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sums as are necessary to carry out the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.) for the first 90-day period beginning on the first day of a lapse in discretionary appropriations for carrying out such Act for such fiscal year: Provided, That such funds shall be placed in reserve for use only in such amounts and at such times as may become necessary to carry out program operations: Provided further, That such funds shall remain available until expended.
