Bill overview
This bill establishes an Office to Monitor and Combat Islamophobia within the Department of State. The office, headed by a Special Envoy, will be responsible for tracking and reporting on instances of Islamophobia and related incitement occurring in foreign countries. It will also coordinate with international organizations and enhance reporting requirements in annual human rights and religious freedom reports to specifically address these issues.
