IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
A BILL
To amend the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act to preempt any squatter’s rights established by State law regarding real property owned by a member of the uniformed services.
Any State law establishing squatter’s rights shall not apply to premises—
owned by a servicemember; and
occupied by a squatter during a period of military service of such servicemember.
