Bill overview
The Review Every Veterans Claim Act of 2025 aims to ensure that veterans are not unfairly denied benefits simply because they missed a scheduled medical examination with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This bill changes VA policy to prevent denials of claims solely based on a veteran’s failure to attend a required examination. It clarifies that the VA must consider other factors when evaluating a claim, even if a veteran missed an appointment. The goal is to streamline the claims process and improve access to benefits for eligible veterans.
